Time to convince people, including myself, to regularly use tumblr to get updates on my work and streaming here instead of muskman’s garbage fire
Drimo you are famous please divulge the fact that twitter is about to drop any game accounts bind like arknights where you can log through twitter accounts.
Noone is gonna be able to use twitter to access to arknights very soon.

I’m not famous but I will stress that this is a very serious issue.
Here’s a short article on it, but basically, Twitter is ending free access to its API, thus, games would have to pay for a package to access this, which includes features such as binding syncs for accounts.
Starting on February 9th, free access will no longer be supported, meaning, there’s a very real chance that your Twitter-bound account for your favorite mobile game, like Arknights, won’t be accessible through that particular venue any longer, possibly locking you out of your account. There’s no telling which developers will be purchasing this new access package, so better be safe than sorry: Go to your accounts and make sure they have another bind so you don’t get locked out of them.
Please let as many people know about this, so no one gets locked out of their accounts. Twitter gave a single week’s notice, which might catch some people unaware, and this is sudden on game developers as well, so, again, better be safe than sorry, bind your accounts in other ways if you use Twitter binding.
This is what I would be worried about. The API is for people who programmatically post Tweets or read them in order to do things with them. Debirdify, a tool that allows you to find people on Mastodon instances, uses the API to do so. Several bots use the API to post. All those stupid “your Twitter valentine” things that turn out to be data grabs in hindsight use the API.
Things that use Twitter’s Social Login feature are not using the API. That doesn’t mean Log in with Twitter is a safe feature to use. They did, on complete accident, turn off the whole feature not so long ago. It’s just not realiable. But it’s not the feature they’re turning off.
Signalboosting this cool and important clarification from a friend. The kinda stuff that will break and that is giving people like me a headache are services that automatically post to Twitter when I go live on Twitch, bots that share my tweets on my Discord server, and crossposting tools like Postybirb. Needless to say, I am deeply frustrated, and REALLY have to hope that more people follow me on places like this site now, because Tumblr is *less* of a hellsite than Twitter now!
And yes, you should still remove your twitter logins on sites anyway. I used it for convenience and well I should not have, because there is nothing convenient about Twitter these days!
Oh hey I am still around! I am well! Just been busy becoming a self-employed person and all that jazz. I mainly used Twitter to update people on my streams and my work, and since Twitter might or might not be going up fully in flames, I will make a sideblog here ASAP to update people on my stuff there. Stay tuned, if you are interested! For now, here is what I got …
I stream 3x per week, sometimes more, over here:

And I got a Discord server for hanging out and updates on my stuff:
I also have a small portfolio website that collects some of my info and a way to contact me for business, if you are so inclined, and I will be putting some of my work on there as I do it as well:
And last but not least, I just launched this very humble Patreon:

It’s always scary for a creative like me to lose a primary platform that tells people I exist, but I am also stubborn as all get out, so I am not giving up anytime soon. Just like, if you like what I do and wanna support me in some way, literally just acknowledging I exist and maybe giving me a follow in some places means a ton. We live in an uncertain world, as basically always, and any kind of certainty I can somewhat rely on goes a long way.
Thank you, as always, for reading, and for being here. <3

FFXIV Warrior of Light - level 16 vs level 60.
I’ve really been enjoying XIV, it’s in many ways just the most perfect game. Story-telling is on-point and so much variety in what you can do. I still wish I didn’t have to deal with the ‘MMO’ part of the MMORPG, but overall it’s the best game I’ve played in ages.
Here’s my WoL’s progression from start of Realm Reborn to end of Heavensward (which is where I’m up to). He’s an old OC but rarely in the spotlight, and never the main character… so this whole trip has been both strange and enlightening for him!
